Ocho is an Ochette

Baby GIRL Rauch was born at 4:34pm, weighing 8 pounds 9.6 ounces.

Baby girl was born via emergency C-section. It was scary and sudden. But it is now over.

After my recovery time, we went to the NICU to see sweet Ocho. It was harder than I expected. So many tubes and machines. I can’t hold her or feed her right now. I haven’t even touched her. I’ve heard her cry only once. But she is doing well and adjusting to the outside world.

I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck but hearing the voices of beloved family members, seeing the kids via Hangouts, and knowing of everyone’s support and prayers mitigate much of the pain and fear.

I will post more tomorrow. Right now, a turkey sandwich and some apple juice request my immediate attention.

  1. Congratulations!! May God grant you all strength now as she begins her battles without the loving protection of your womb. Good job mama getting her safely to this point! You now must trust God & the doctors, difficult as that may be.

  8. I am overjoyed at this little lady’s birth! Uncle Bob and I continue to pray for you all. Yesterday, October 13th, the priest celebrated a votive Mass in honor of the final apparition at Fatima, when the sun danced.

  11. CONGRATULATIONS!!💕
I loved the Baby Ocho name but love Becky’s new name more! I was glad to get the news of Becky’s arrival. I pray that God’s loving arms, wrapped around the whole family, are felt and that the Doctor’s hands are God’s hands during any surgery that Becky needs.

My emotions are still quite raw. I read your latest blogs through streaming tears. I know the love and fear you and Sam have for your little Becky. I pray God’s peace for you.

Sam’s video is so lovingly tender and sweet! God sure picked the right family with so much love to welcome and nurture this sweet baby
