Well, we couldn’t exactly call her “Ocho” for the rest of her life.

So we named her Rebekah Lucia Rauch. Becky for short.
I haven’t seen her since last night but I hope to go to the NICU sometime today. My legs appear to be working again.
Sam spent some time with her last night. Becky is no longer on a ventilator and is breathing on her own. She is periodically gasping for breaths which is puzzling given her numbers. I am anxious to meet with the cardiac team and pediatric surgical team for more information.
Sam took this video for the kids explaining some of the NICU equipment.
And, like all of our babies, she has a fabulous set of cheeks.
She is beautiful and has the Rauch cheeks. She is a fighter and I hope that in future days the news is
positive. Love and prayers to Becky and all the Rauch family.

Becky is so beautiful, she looks like she’s 2 months old. I loved the video! It’s great that Sam was allowed to be with Becky and that she’s breathing so good.
God Bless you all and hope you’ll have a fast recovery.
