Déjà vu

Yogi Berra famously said, “It’s déjà vu all over again.” While he was referring to Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris hitting home runs, for me, it’s more like “Another day, another hospital room.”

Becky was admitted to the PCICU last night after a concerning pediatric appointment and subsequent visit to the ER.

The Floor

People talk about “moving up” in the world. For Becky, “moving down” is the more appropriate goal.

Destination: “The Floor”, which is PCICU lingo for the regular pediatric floor in the children’s hospital.

Directions: Down a couple long hallways. A few turns. A short elevator ride.

Mode of travel: Little red wagon, of course.
