Johnny and I watched the U.S. Figure Skating National Championship on tape delay this morning. As Karen Chen began skating, the commentator told us to prepare “to be swept up by the beauty” of the performance. About 2/3 of the way through the program, Johnny looked at me and said, “I’m not feeling swept up by the beauty just yet.”

Maybe he has a future in broadcasting.
